Profile
I teach undergraduate and postgraduate computing in Dang, Nepal, and have led degree programs at affiliated colleges since 2016. My research looks at how public institutions and schools secure the digital systems they depend on: the policy and governance frameworks behind security practice, and what happens when e-governance and e-learning systems are rolled out where resources are limited.
My most recent study analyses five years of cybercrime reports in Nepal (2077–2082 B.S., 2020–2025 A.D.), tracing the platforms where offences occur and who the victims are. It builds on earlier field research into ICT adoption in a municipal government and in government school education. In 2025 I completed a Master of Information Technology and Systems in Cybersecurity in Melbourne as the program’s top graduate.
